Blue Light Card

As we’re registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), all Anchor colleagues are eligible for a Blue Light Card

The Blue Light Card is a discount service for the emergency services, NHS, social care sector  workforce (like Anchor colleagues) and armed forces, providing members with discounts online and on the high street.

How Does It Work?

For a fee of £4.99, eligible members can register for two years’ access to more than 15,000 discounts for large national retailers and local businesses, providing saving on things such as holidays, days out, fashion, gifts and more. Members access the discounts through an online account and/or an app and can also request a physical card to present in-store.

If you have any issues with the application process, you can email contact@bluelightcard.co.uk for assistance.

Please note:
Remember, Anchor colleagues can access lots of discounts and cashback offers for free through My Shopping Discounts (some of which may be similar to those offered by the Blue Light Card).

Whether you work in one of our care homes, our housing locations, our Bradford or London offices or in a support role, all Anchor colleagues should be eligible under Blue Light Card’s  category of Social Care – Care Company Workforce for company registered with CQC.

The Blue Light Card is operated by a third-party provider who manage the eligibility and registration process – which Anchor have no involvement with.

If you have any issues with the application process, you can email contact@bluelightcard.co.uk  or check their website for FAQs and other details.
