What is the Real Living Wage?
These rates are set independently from the government’s National Minimum Wage rates and are calculated by the Living Wage Foundation according to the cost of living, based on a basket of household goods and services.

The rates are reviewed each autumn and accredited companies have six months to implement the new rates of pay once announced. We apply the rates as part of our annual pay review process, in line with the Pay Policy available on The Bridge.
