Mental Health Support

Most people will experience stress, depression or other mental health concerns at some point in their lives, so it's important to have access to support when you need it.

As well as the tools and resources available through our Colleague Advice Line and Anchor.Life portal and App, we offer a range of support for your mental health, including: 

  • Unlimited mental health support through Help@Hand – from qualified mental healthcare professionals, subject to clinical appropriateness, for you and your partner. For mild to moderate issues, including bereavement counselling. (Number of sessions subject to clinical appropriateness.)

  • Being Well support materials in myLearning You can self-enrol onto the Being Well Mental Health at Work course anytime and line managers can also access the  Supporting colleagues with mental health and during periods of long-term absence video.
    Line managers can also enrol onto the Let’s talk about mental health course, to give them the tools to have effective conversations with their team about mental health

  • My Being Well – is our Workplace group where colleagues offer inspiration, activities and challenges throughout the year to help support each other with mental health

  • Mental Health Matters – is another Workplace group where colleagues share news, best practice and top tips on all things relating to mental health

  • The Mental Health at Work website – also offers a wealth of support and resources, pooled together from different organisations, like Mind and The BMA – British medical Association.
